As a South Dakota native Lyle attended college and was in the building profession for several years before joining Lewis and Kirkeby Real Estate in 1972, where he recieved his GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute).
Lyle joined Coldwell Banker Real Estate of Phoenix, Arizona in 1979 specializing in the marketing of commercial properties, and luxury homes. While in this position, Lyle recieved his CRS (Certified Residential Specialist Designation) and was also listed in the Who's Who in Arizona Real Estate.
In 1997 Lyle returned to his home in South Dakota and has since joined Coldwell Banker Lewis Kirkeby Hall Real Estate as a Broker Associate.
